As a Long Island wedding photographer, capturing this unique, city spot was out of my comfort zone. But Taylor & Mike’s Liberty Warehouse wedding in Brooklyn was absolutely stunning. Set right on the water with the Empire State Building glowing in the distance, the day had the perfect mix of black-tie elegance and fun. The dark brick, industrial space of the Liberty Warehouse paired beautifully with the twinkle lights overhead and all the classic fall florals.
Shout out to the amazing vendor team that made this day possible:

We started the day capturing Taylor’s first look with Mike, which was such a sweet, emotional moment. They exchanged private vows later on that were almost identical—so heartfelt and personal. Moments like these are why I love being a wedding photographer: capturing raw emotion in intimate spaces that the couple will remember forever.
Taylor & Mike really wanted an editorial style for their portraits, so we spent some time creating dramatic, posed images with side flash throughout the day. I also shot film to capture timeless, soft, romantic moments that feel classic and authentic. Taylor’s dress was simple yet stunning, and the wedding party looked amazing in all black—it was such a classy look for a fall wedding on the water.
The Liberty Warehouse is such a unique venue—dark brick walls, open industrial spaces, and a beautiful waterfront view. The decor really brought the day together: classic florals, fun lighting, and a dance floor under twinkle lights that encouraged everyone to let loose and celebrate.
Their ceremony took place right on the pier, overlooking the harbor. The water was calm, and the skyline shimmered in the background as the sun started to dip. Guests sat facing the Manhattan view while Taylor walked down the aisle — it was one of those moments that felt still and cinematic all at once.
The reception space came alive once the sun went down — the twinkle lights over the dance floor added such a romantic glow, and the black-tie outfits popped beautifully against the warm tones of the room. Everyone danced all night, and it felt like one of those weddings you never want to end.
