Q: What is your approach on a wedding day?
A: I embody a warm, calm + observant approach that deviates from traditional norms. I embrace moments as they unfold, prioritizing authenticity over perfection. While I capture the full spectrum of emotions throughout the day, some guidance may be needed during formalities like family portraits or romantic shots. My style blends documentary and candid elements, yet I also provide direction when needed, offering the best of both worlds. Essentially, my philosophy is simple: amidst the camera's lens, remain true to yourselves, stay connected, be fully present, + express love naturally. At the end of the day, you want to remember your day genuinely.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: I offer portraits for engagements + couples. I am currently not taking any new family/maternity clients. I occasionally offer mini sessions throughout the year in summer, fall, & one during the holidays. I also offer my services in small weddings, elopements + events (bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners)!
Q: How do you define a small wedding?
A: In my eyes, a small wedding is around 40-75 guests! If a wedding is larger than that I usually require a second photographer.
Q: WHAT is YOUR PAYMENT POLICY?
A: A 25% non-refundable retainer is required in advance to secure the date & time of my services! The balance is due on the day of the session or event.
Q: Can I have the raw files after the shoot?
A: No; A lot of time goes into editing and forming a style. RAW files are basically negatives and they do not accurately represent my work!
Q: How will i receive my photos?
A: Your images will be uploaded to a beautiful online gallery where you will be able to download in high resolution. The gallery will be sent to the primary email on file.
Q: Photo Turnaround time?
A: 1 week is my standard turnaround time for portrait sessions. For any event or wedding, my turnaround time is 4-6 weeks!
Q: What 35mm film services do you offer?
A: As a wedding gift, I always include one roll of black + white film as my gift to you for booking with me. As far as adding films on to regular sessions + events, you have the choice to add b+w or color film for an additional cost! I use Kodak Portra 400 (color film) + Ilford HP5 400 (b+w film). I get the film developed + scanned locally to the highest quality! When booking you will be asked which one you'd like to add on and how many rolls!
Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: I offer 5% off any regular session to all Military, First Responders & Healthcare Workers! Thank you for your service to your country. Let me know before you book & send me a form of your ID!
Q: Do you Offer prints & Albums?
A: I do! I go through a professional printing lab only for photographers & the quality is AMAZING. You can purchase prints, canvas', & framed photos right from your gallery. If you'd like to order an album, send me a message and I will send you an order form to fill out.
