2. 35mm film photography... Yes, film.
Film may be a thing of the past for most people, but for me it holds a different weight than digital photography.
I love the nostalgic ambiance that film brings to a wedding day, along with its artistic and unpredictable nature. It's a timeless memento, a treasure to hold onto, and eventually, a story to share with future generations about a time when memories weren't just confined to screens. Choosing film photography is, in essence, honoring tradition.
The imperfect colors, and the random “beautiful mistakes” that happen when shooting film, as well as the organic nature of film. It just feels different when looking at it.
Film invites us to embrace a slower pace and savor the photographic process. It encourages us to pause, take in our surroundings, and remain receptive to the potential for a compelling image.
That is why as a wedding gift I shoot a roll (approx 24-36 photos) of B&W film for you and I am so happy to do so.
